where do I
start.?! … Getting off to the
right start can make a big difference in a student's progress,
regardless of age. I teach systematic fundamentals that make
practice fun and rewarding. Lessons are divided into 4 basic parts:
1.
Finger Strength and Dexterity
If you have never
played a fretted instrument before, then it may take a little
getting used to. Your fingers are use to working as a team, not one
at a time, with both hands doing unrelated things. You’ll learn
specific hand and finger exercises consistent with playing the
guitar. Chords and scales are easier when your fingers know where
to go and how to get there. Use my simple method for 5-10 minutes a
day.
2.
